KUGlobalAid is an international service-learning program, working to build awareness and solidarity in the world. Through a global, humanitarian and need-oriented perspective; KUGA seeks to assist the world to improve itself. In line with the necessities of the 21st century in which we face complex and interrelated problems, our main motivation is to create social impact using the tools of social entrepreneurship, human-centered design, and sustainable building.
KUGA seeks sustainable solutions to current problems of Türkiye and the world. KUGA projects are created after determination of the problem, investigation of possible solution mechanisms, and designing the most sustainable and multi-stakeholder method. We are trying to build a more sustainable world with consciousness.
KUGA is supported by Koc University Office of International Programs. KUGA members consist of university students mostly from undergrads, from different majors and different academic levels. Our community members are recruited in fall semesters through a double selection process including written and oral evaluation parts.
KU Global Aid aims to create solutions to global problems such as migration, global warming, education, health issues and many more. KU Global Aid renews its agenda every year and focuses on solving these issues in a sustainable way with responsibility and interdependence. We are trying to build awareness and belief that humans can end their problems if they work together. So, our missions are creating & implementing sustainable solutions and proving humans can overcome problems together.
