Event Program

This portion of the event constituted of talks given by leading individuals of the NGO sector. The speeches are aimed to enlighten the listeners about subjects such as what it is like working in NGOs, what social entrepreneurship means in Türkiye and what the student can do as an individual. All the talks also included anecdotes from the personal backgrounds of the individual speakers.

Gala Lunch

During this special lunch, students got the chance to personally meet leaders and representatives from various NGOs to establish personal networks with these professionals. It was created to be a unique environment to expand personal networks and get to know inspiring people. The lunch took place in Koç University’s Kule Restaurant.

For those who didn’t want to join gala lunch, there was be a free lunch served in Koc University Yemekhane.

Fair

The fair was host to a great number of NGOs, who set up booths representing their organizations and projects. Anyone participating in the event had the opportunity to approach the representative stands with questions and thoughts. It aimed to be an environment where students will get the chance to learn about what types of NGOs interest them personally. If participating NGOs are willing, students also were able to leave their resumes or sign up as volunteers with NGOs they are interested in. The fair took place at Koç University Semahat Arsel Sports Hall.
