Tunisia Revolution Week

KU GlobalAid which has helped the foundation of a water network in the Village of Ummun Bişne in Tunisia in cooperation with the NGO of Al-Amal, which officially contacts the UNDP and the Enahdha Party in Tunisia, is inviting you to the Tunisia week organization to observe the Tunisia Revolution through a different perspective!

In this activity, you will find the opportunity to listen to the effects of youth and be an activist on the Tunisia Revolution at the first seminar which will be presented by Majdi Attia, and you will have an opportunity to attend the second seminar at which three people who will come from Tunisia, Libya and Egypt evaluate “Arab Spring” and effects of the revolution in their countries. Furthermore, You can entertain via writing your knowledge on Tunisia on speech balloons and to provide awareness about Tunisia through sharing your general knowledge.

First Seminar:

Speaker: Majdi Attia (Tunisia Revolution Activist)

The seminar will cover the demographic structure of Tunisia, the political and social status of the adolescents, the fall of the Ben Ali regime, the influence of social media on the revolution and the points of view of the adolescents before and after the revolution.

Place of the seminar: Founders Hall
Time: April,17 (Wednesday) at 5 pm.

Second Seminar:

You will have an opportunity to attend the second seminar at which three people who will come from Tunisia, Libya and Egypt evaluate “Arab Spring” and the effects of the revolution in their countries.

Place of the seminar: Student Center B329
Time: April,24 (Wednesday) at 6.30 pm.

In addition; in between April 15 and 24, we will search for answers to the questions which will be written on the speech balloons that you can find at Student Center such as “What is the importance of Dégage for Tunisia?” “What happened in Tunisia on January 14th,2011?”
